Monkeys on 'revenge killing' spree claim lives of 250 dogs; Twitter responds with 'Gangwar' memes

A piculiar incident, coming in from Maharashtra has baffled everyone. Monkeys and dogs are at war and the monkeys seems to be winning by quite a margin. It all started when few dogs allegedly killed a monkey infant, leading to vengeance that can only be discribed as utter disarray. In the past month, monkeys have allegedly massacred around 250 puppies as a revenge, by tossing them from heights.

The bizarre episode happened in Beed district’s Majalgaon area. The moment a group of monkeys in the area sees a puppy. It grabs the little pup and takes it to a considerable hight and tosses it down. Not only that, around 10 km away from Majalgaon, a village named Lavool has a population of approximately 5,000 however not even a single pup is left in the locality now.


Forest officials were notified following the incident but not even a single monkeys have been caught thus far. As brutal as it may seem, the outlandish war of vengeance between the animals has fascinated the internet and the people have picked their side with the help of memes.

 

 

After the forest officials were unable to catch the rampaging monkeys, locals in the area themselves volunteered to save puppies of their village from the monkeys attacking them in vengeance, some locals have even fallen from buildings and hurt themselves while making an attempt to save puppies.
