Man slips, falls down on Metro track; scary video goes viral

A shocking video of a passenger falling onto the tracks has gone viral on social media. The clip was shared by CISF on its Twitter handle.

In the video, the man can be seen falling onto the tracks after slipping on the edge of the platform. The incident took place at Shahdara Metro Station, Delhi.

It seems like the man, later identified as Shailender Mehata, was busy on his mobile phone while walking close to the edge of the platform.

He suddenly slipped on the edge and fell straight down the track.

However, with the timely intervention of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, the tragedy was averted.

"A passenger namely Mr. Shailender Mehata, R/O Shahdara, slipped and fell on the metro track @ Shahdara Metro Station, Delhi. Alert CISF personnel promptly acted and helped him out," CISF tweeted.
