Insane! Woman does this bizarre thing on top of her sinking car; see viral pic

A hilarious but scary incident took place in Canada where a woman made headlines for her bizarre activity when her car was sinking in the icy water.

The woman who crazed while driving on a frozen river found a time to take a selfie even as her car sank in the icy water. Her picture has now gone viral on social media.


In the now-viral picture, the unnamed woman was photographed standing on top of her yellow car and capturing the moment in her phone while her vehicle continued to sink under the ice of the Rideau River in the suburb of Manotick on Sunday afternoon, the Daily Mail reported.

On the other hand, locals rushed to rescue her after seeing her standing on the top of her fast-sinking car.

The video of the incident was also posted online which showed how people rushed to her aid with kayaks.

The viral picture of the crazy woman was shared along with a caption, “She captured the moment with a selfie while people hurried and worried to help her."



After the woman’s rescue, Ottawa Police also thanked the locals for rescuing the woman at right time.

“Thankfully no injuries and an amazing job by local residents saving the driver by using a kayak and quick safe thinking," police tweeted.


According to the Canadian newspaper National Post, the woman was not injured in the incident and also refused to be assessed by paramedics who arrived at the spot after the rescue.

Meanwhile, she has been charged with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, said police.
