Mouni Roy gets emotional after Ekta Kapoor announces new actress for Naagin 3

Naagin is one of the most popular and talked about show of the small screen. After its popularity, the second season of the show was introduced by the makers of the show and yet again the makers will be back with the third season of the show. However, the lead Naagins, Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan, will not be a part of this season.

Today, Balaji Telefilms' head-honcho, Ekta Kapoor, confirmed the same by sharing a post along with a picture on her social media. In her post, she made it clear that the show is bidding goodbye to the old Naagins and now the show will have new actress.

Ekta, on her Instagram account shared a picture with a caption that read as follows, Ekta captioned the post as, "A new nagin arrives! As we bid Adieu to @imouniroy and @adaakhann from NAAGIN we welcome the NEW! Will soon reveal my new 'naagin' or should I say 'NAAGINS' #waitfornaagin3".

When one of the lead actress of the show, Mouni Roy read that post, she could not help but got emotional and commented on her picture. She commented "that hurt a little but am excited too".

Giving a reply to Mouni, Ekta too commented and wished her goodluck for her upcoming projects. Ekta commented, "u will always b a part of balaji! For now bigger things await u!!!!!! My dearest we will miss u on naagin!"

Few reports that are going on the social media claims that Television actress Krystle D'Souza and Splitsvilla 10 fame, who is presently in the Bigg Boss house, Priyank Sharma will be in the third season of the daily soap.

The reason why Mouni will not be a part of the show is her busy schedule in the Bollywood industry. She will next be seen in Gold opposite Akshay Kumar. Next, she will be shooting for a web series of ALT Balaji which is titled as 'Mehrunisa'. She will also begin with her next Bollywood project 'Brahmastra' in which she is casted along with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.
