Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Shocking! Parth Samthaan aka Anurag's father passes away
TV actor Parth Samthaan became a household name soon after the beginning of the reboot version of Ekta Kapoor's popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 in which he played the role of Anurag opposite Erica Fernandes who donned the role of Prerna. From the past few days, he has been in news because of the blossoming romance between the two. But the actor came in news when the reports about his father being ill came soon after which he left the shooting for Pune. And now here's a bad news for his fans that his father Lagathe Samthaan passed away.
Shocking but true. The actor was shooting for the show when suddenly a call about his father being admitted to the hospital came later which he drove off to Pune just to find his father taking his last breath. The actor is shattered since he was very close to his father. His father's health deteriorate inspite of the continous efforts of the doctors. The reason and cause of death is still not known.
The shoot of the show has been called off while the whole team including his co-stars are palnning to travel to be with him. His family has been very low-key one and his parents are hardly seen in Mumbai. The actor keeps on sharing pictures of his parents on his social media. Not only this he recently bought his first house in Mumbai which he gifted his parents and gave his fans a glimpse of the home.

Sharing the pictures on Instagram he captioned it as, "Gift to my Parents —-MY FIRST HOUSE IN MUMBAI This feeling is beyond happiness ! Since the time one travels to a new city to aspire his/her dream .. you are always away from your home .. and while pursuing your dream you want to get your ‘home sweet home’ asap .. So with god’s blessings ...finally m glad that I am able to achieve one of the goals from my wishlist #myownhouse #2801 #hariom Ganpati Bappa Maurya"
