The Mahindra Mojo has acquired a new suffix: UT 300, where UT stands for Universal Tourer. The new variant, unveiled today, goes on sale at a launch price of Rs 1.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The introductory price benefit of Rs 10,000 per bike will end in March 2018, mentions the company.

In comparison to the regular version, which is now suffixed XT 300 (Xtreme Tourer), the UT 300 gets a conventional front fork, carburetor, and 17-inch tubeless tires. The 300 cc liquid-cooled engine remains unchanged and so does the twin-tube chassis, 320 mm front disc brake, and rear monoshock.

At a lower price point, the motorcycle retains most of the features that the long distance riders appreciated. The 21-liter fuel tank, upright riding position, comfortable ride, and the digital instrument panel are all there.
