​Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No 150 mints Rs. 50.50 crore worldwide on its opening day

As the tag line of Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No 150​ suggests the Boss is back and how.

The Telugu release of 2017, ​Khaidi No 150 ​took an excellent opening on its opening day. Directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Chiranjeevi's son and actor-producer Ram Charan, the film is a remake of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Tamil blockbuster Kaththi.

​On its opening day itself, the Chiranjeevi film creates history as the film had raked in Rs. 50.50 crore at the box office worldwide. The film has done remarkably well in Telugu states and minted a massive Rs. 30 crore to become the second biggest Telugu opener after Baahubali : The Beginning. At the Karnataka Box Office, Khaidi No 150​ has minted a whopping Rs. 7.50 crore to become the biggest Telugu opener in recent times.​

Khaidi No 150 has done phenomenal business overseas as well. With the combined Tuesday premieres and Wednesday collections, the Telugu megastar film has crossed Rs. 10 crore at the US Box Office alone.​​

The total worldwide collection of Khaidi No 150 now stands at a terrific Rs. 50.50 crore and with this feat, the Chiranjeevi starrer emerged as the third biggest South Indian film opener​ after Rajinikanth's Kabali and Baahubali.

Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh & Nizam) - Rs. 30 crore​

Karnataka - Rs. 7.50 crore

USA - Rs. 10 crore

Rest of India & overseas - ​Rs. 3 crore
