Vijay will be seen playing a Tamil cricketer who happens to be a good friend of Ranveer Singh (Kapil Dev). Now, this is surely interesting to see Vijay Devarkonda and Ranveer Singh in the same film. The interesting thing is that Vijay Devarkonda became a part of discussions when late actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor told that she has a huge crush on Vijay. She revealed it in the show Koffee With Karan.
On the other hand, Vijay Devarkonda's film Arjun Reddy is being remade in Hindi as well in the name of Kabir Singh. Padmaavat actor Shahid Kapoor is playing the leading role in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy.
