2.0 Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer film break all records and becomes the highest opening grosser

2.0 Box Office Collection Day 1: Finally, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer film 2.0 got released this Thursday and after a lot of hype, the expectations from the film was obviously on high notes. Well, S Shankar directorial film has gone up to the expectations and it has got a positive response from the critics and the audience.  As soon as the film released, the occupancy report really shocked and surprised the audience.

The makers played a smart game as by taking Rajinikanth in the leading role they covered the whole South region, while Akshay Kumar in the negative role, helped the makers to bring Noth region audience in the theatres. According to the early trends, 2.0 is all set to break all the records of highest opening grosser, Baahubali 2. The early trends suggest that the film has collected more than 70 crores on its very first day.

According to the trade expert Ramesh Bala, Rajinikanth starrer film already has broken many records in the South region. According to Bala, 2.0 has collected 2.64 crores in Chennai only and it broke the record of Illayathalapathy Vijay's film Sarkar's record of 2.37 crores while in Hyderabad only, 2.0 became the highest opening grosser by collecting 4.73 crores.

 

While expectations are that only in the Hindi version, the film has collected more than 25 crores, which is really a record-breaking fact. Although, Prabhas starring Baahubali 2 had set a milestone of 121 crores as the opening day collection and if in the recent times there is any film that can break this record then it is obviously 2.0.
