In an aggressive tone, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has called out the PM Modi over the corruption issue and said that he doesn’t mentions Rafale in his speeches.

Rahul Gandhi was speaking in Alwar as it is the last day of campaigning for the Rajasthan Election, which goes to poll on December 7 and the result will be declared on December 11.

Accusing PM Modi over Rafale deal, Gandhi said that he never mentions or talks about the Rafale scam in the speeches as he fears that the crowd might ask questions to him regarding the issue.

Rahul Gandhi said, “Narendra Modi ji never mentions Rafale deal in any of his speeches, he is afraid that if he speaks on this then people will shout 'chowkidar chor hai.”

Gandhi added that, “PM Modi says 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' before every speech, he should instead say 'Anil Ambani ki jai, Mehul Choksi ki jai, Nirav Modi ki jai, Lalit Modi ki jai'. If you talk of Bharat Mata then how can you forget our farmers?”

The Rajasthan election is being contested upon the issue of fresh drinking water, farmer distress, mob lynching, unemployment among others but the leaders are attracted more towards the caste of Lord Hanuman and the Hindu-Muslim debate.

The high anti-incumbency in the state has led to the set of Vasundhara Raje in an endangered category and even the history is favoring the Opposition as Rajasthan is a state where no successive government has been voted to power after 1995.

Congress party has a fair chance to win the election, although the internal rift amongst the CM candidate in between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot can be a game changer.
