At least three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans sustained injuries today evening when unidentified rebels hurled a hand grenade on their vehicle.

According to reports, the rebels hurled a hand grenade towards the vehicle in Nowhatta in Srinagar, injuring 5 troopers.

All the injured CRPF personnel were admitted to a local hospital and a case has been registered against unknown persons and further investigation is on to nab the attackers.

Kashmir continues to be on the boil with 30 people getting killed in the violence following the death of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani, even as curfew-like restrictions were in force and mobile internet services remained suspended.
