R Balki's upcoming film, Ki and Ka, has Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, a love story, the struggles in a married life, and an idea against a prevalent social issue. The film challenges gender roles established in Indian society
However, the film's new song, Ji Huzoori, hints at something that we all have probably missed in the trailer and other videos.
The song focuses on a moving train, and depicts the highs and lows of a married life, with Arjun-Kareena missing the time they spent with each other.
Sung and composed by Mithoon, it is the quintessential Bollywood emotional track, important for a film that talks about relationships. The lyrics of Ji Huzoori throw light on the problems faced by a couple when their heart and mind stop thinking alike:
Tujhko manana mujhe toh ata nahi... par ye nahi ke tujhe main chahta nahi
Waqt badla hai zara sa...main vahi hun jaan-e-jaan
Kaise tujhko baat main ye samjhau saathiya...
Kaise khush tujhe rakhu nahi pata... par chahta hun tere labon pe hasi...
