Airlfit: Akshay Kumar makes you emotional with Tu Bhoola Jise. KK spills magic again

Trust Akshay Kumar to give you goosebumps with this new track from his upcoming movie Airlift. The song titled Tu Bhoola Jise will tug at your patriotic strings.

Sung by K.K., it's an emotional number that visualises Akshay's efforts in helping his countrymen stuck in Kuwait during the Gulf War of 1990. Even though the music, by Amaal Malik is soft, it's lyrics which were penned by Kumar seem powerful:

Tu bhoola jise, tujhko voh yaad karta raha

Tu jeeta raha, tere liye vo marta raha...

Tere dard ki, aahat suni, toh aa gaya sab chhod ke

Tu Bhoola Jise has got a beautiful rendition of Indian's National Song -- Vande Mataram. It adds the required amount of patriotism into this Akshay Kumar-Nimrat Kaur starrer.

Airlift, directed by Raja Menon, is set to release on 22 January.
