Shiv Sena leader Anil Chavan shot in the head, in a critical condition

Shiv Sena leader Anil Chavan was shot at by two unidentified men in Mumbai on 27 October, late evening.

Chavan was rushed to the hospital and admitted after he was shot in the head by two men around 8 pm.

"He has been admitted to the KEM hospital. An FIR has been lodged and the investigation into the case has begun," Deputy Commissioner of Police Avinash Amburey said.

Chavan was shot at Kashimira in Mira Road and has been declared critical. The unknown assailant fired two rounds on him. He has been admitted at Bhaktivedanta Hospital for treatment and has been declared critical.

The DNA reported that a Kashimira offcial said, "Chavan suffered a bullet injury and has been admitted at a hospital for treatment and we suspect personal rivalry behind the attack. "
