Bulandshahr case: Thought Azam Khan's remark was sick? Wait till you hear BJP's IP Singh's response

Senior BJP leader IP Singh lashed out at Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan on 3 August for his comments on the Bulandshahr gangrape victims.

Singh took to Twitter to say that Khan would only feel the pain of the gangrape victims if his wife or daughter were put through the same ordeal.

Khan sparked controversy when he said that the Bulandshahr gangrape was a conspiracy by the opposition. The BJP had condemned the insensitive remark and had demanded that SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav initiate strict action against Khan.

The cab driver, whose wife and daughter were subjected to the brutal gangrape, condemned Khan's comment. "Who will marry my daughter now, my daughter wants to punish the rapists herself," he said.
