McD's new 'Modern China' burger is 50 shades of grey

Speed News Desk | Updated on: 13 February 2017, 6:03 IST

Why can't people leave junk food alone? What is this grey thing even supposed to be? The poor man's black burger? And if it is indeed that, why is it grey and not black? What is this nonsensical bit of sorcery that's threatening to put us off burgers forever? Or at least till tomorrow.

The burger variant isn't available in India for which we will remain eternally grateful. But the pictures are enough to put us off food for a bit.

Dudes at McDonald, lend me your ears. Grey is the colour of those times when your mood is blue. Grey is the color of boredom, of college sweatshirts that are never washed, of pavements, of dilapidated buildings, of granny hair, and of books written for nymphomaniacs (sorry, not sorry, EL James).

Never has grey been the colour of appetizing food.

Thankfully, much like the other hideously coloured Halloween buns, the grey burger isn't here to stay.

Go home McDonald's. You're drunk.
