Gurugram: Dhaba owner kills newly bride before ending his life; here's why

In a shocking incident, the man murdered a newly married woman in Gurugram on Sunday.

The 30-year-old man has been identified as Rajesh, who is a Dhaba owner. Reportedly, after killing the woman, the man shot himself.

The appalling incident took place in the Pataudi area on Sunday.

Know why he killed?

According to reports in timesnownews.com, the duo had been in a relationship in the past, police said.

During the police investigation, it was found that Rajesh was married and has three children. While Priyanka got married on June 29 and had come to visit her family.

According to the 20-year-old woman’s uncle, Ramji Lal filed a police complaint against the man. He told police that Rajesh came to Priyanka’s home on Saturday and took her to his dhabha.

When Priyanka returned home, her family members started searching for her.

At around 5 am on Sunday, Priyanka’s family found her body at a vacant plot behind Rajesh’s Dhaba, the Times of India reported.

According to Ramji Lal, Rajesh first fired a bullet on Priyanka’s check and then shot himself in the head.

The two bodies were lying close to each other and the pistol was lying next to them.

Police sent the bodies for postmortem. Also, booked the Dhaba owner under 302 section of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act.
