NEET 2018: Exam will be conducted within first week of May; Check out here

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), putting all speculation at rest by announcing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 exam date. As per the expectation exam will be conducted on the first Sunday of May i.e. 6 May 2018.

Although there is no official announcement of the date about the online application forms date. But as per the expectation, the notification and application form for NEET UG 2018 will be available by the end of 31 January 2018.

Interested students should regularly check the official website of NEET to know the further details.

CBSE also notified that there will be a no change in the syllabus pattern will remain same like last year. This announcement was made by the CBSE when last weeks rumours were raised about the change in syllabus for the exam. Therefore, CBSE responded quickly to stop and settle the issue by giving the clarification to the candidates and their parents. All the interested students can also check the details on the official website at cbseneet.nic.in. Candidates can also check the complete syllabus on the website.

 

Students and parents should read the guidelines given by the CBSE regarding documentation as well as the eligibility criteria. From 2017, CBSE has issued the guidelines regarding Aadhaar cards mandatory for all the examinations conducted by the board.

 

NEET is the common platform for taking the admission in all undergraduate medical and dental courses in the country.

 

There are two institutes which conduct separate entrance exam for medical and dental courses admission i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER.

 

As per the Supreme Court guidelines in 2016, all the admission for medical and dental courses, including the private ones will be done on the basis of common platform i.e. scores obtain in NEET.
