Shubman Gill's century helps India C reach Deodhar Trophy final

In the forth match of Deodhar trophy India A started their innings with a perfect score, setting up a target of 294 runs in 50 overs. The fall of first wicket came for India A came in the 19th over when they were at 99/0.

It was on first ball of Chahar's over when he bowled to Anmolpreet and the latter used his feet to chip the ball onside and the short midwicket fielder Washington Sundar took a good catch of it.

The run rate then slowed down for India A, with Rana coming in and hitting a great knock of 68 runs of 75 balls. Rana's wicket was again taken by Chahar.

But India C showed a great example of how to chase a big score when Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav stayed not out to chase the target of 294 runs, with Gill hitting 106 runs of 111 balls and Suryakumar Yadav hitting a unbeaten 56 runs.

R Ashwin, Kulkarni, Mulani all taking 1 wicket each, with Ashwin having lowest economy of all. Most expensive bowler for India A was Mohammed Siraj with an economy of 10.66.

Shubman Gill got the man of the match award for his unbeaten 106 runs.

By winning this match India C will face India B in the finals of Deodhar Trophy in Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. The match will start at 9.00 am IST.
