A tri-nation tournament Nidahas Trophy in Sri-Lanka has finally ended on 18th March. The tremendous performance of Indian cricket team needs endless applause. Especially, wicketkeeper cum batsman Dinesh Karthik has proved he is one the best. Karthik's last ball sixer gave India a winner title of Twenty20 tri-series in Colombo on Sunday. India won the match by four wickets against Bangladesh and the trophy.

India had to chase 167-run target at the R. Premadasa Stadium to take the title home. Karthik scored a wonder 29 runs in just 'eight' balls. In last over India needed 12 runs to win, India lost Vijay Shankar on the penultimate ball, however, we had Karthik on the crease ready to hit Soumya Sarkar for six, which led a wild celebration in the dressing room.

“Really happy for the team, we didn’t deserve to lose the tournament for the cricket we played,” Karthik said after the match. “Indian team right now is a tough place to get in and when you get it, you have to make the most of it,” Karthik added.

Karthik single-handedly changed the entire scenario of the game as he walked out to bat after Manish Pandey walked out to pavilion. Karthik's two sixes and as many fours in the 19th over to add vital 22 runs to India's score.
