Dinesh Karthik and his incomparable 29 runs knock are something that has got imprinted on the minds of all the cricket fans. Needing 5 runs off the last ball of the final match, Dinesh Karthik brought the match to a happy ending with his flat six over the extra-cover.
Karthik with aggressive yet reliable and composed approach steered India towards the victory. India has not lost a single match against Bangladesh in T20I and Karthik ensured the record remains intact. The hopes were slim on India's win but Dinesh Karthik after the fall of Manish Pandey came in like a saviour. He smashed 2 maximums and as many as 4 fours to add crucial 22 runs to the Indian scoreboard in the 19th over.
Dinesh Karthik was playing for team India, a team that did not comprise of players like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Jaspreet Bumrah and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar but the team has Dinesh Karthik in it. He is the man of the moment and deserves all the credit and praise he is being bestowed with. Bangladesh was in the match till the last ball of the match before Karthik came and smashed the unexpected sixer and put to an end the nail-biting match.

In the end, India managed to score 168/6, courtesy skipper Rohit's 14th T20I ton and a composed finish from Dinesh Karthik. The winning runs coming from the bat of Dinesh Karthik who was awarded the man of the match title.
