In the list of rankings for Test batsmen released on Wednesday, Kohli has moved from fifth to number two. While Australian captain Steve Smith is on top.
Kohli scored a total of 610 runs in recently concluded Test series and he was also awarded as a 'man of the series' at an average of 152.50. Virat Kohli, who has been in great form, added two consecutive double centuries (213, 243) and an unbeaten century (104*). Along with this, Kohli became the first Indian batsman to score 600+ runs in the three-match Test series.
