Why Smriti Irani and Karan Johar are hanging out together?
Smriti Irani, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, became the name of every house when she played the role of 'Tulsi' in Ekta Kapoor’s popular daily soap, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. She might have left the small screen some years back but her bonding with Ekta Kapoor is very popular.

Both Ekta and Smriti have been seen spending time with each other quite often. Ekta has again shared an adorbale picture of Smriti on her social media but to our surprise, in the picture Smriti is seen with Karan Johar. Ekta sharing the picture of the duo on her Instagram account, captioned it as, "My two favourites."

Smriti Irani and Karan Johar were in Delhi where they were present to attend the World Economic Forum. Karan in the event opened up about how entertainment industry has defined the economic graph of the country. Talking about the same, he said, "When we talk about my industry, the movies, I feel extremely unfortunate when we say that we are not really on an upward swing at the moment. Cinema and cricket used to be two forces of entertainment on our land, and now, we (cinema) are fighting so many obstacles internally with other verticals, like digital and television are constantly growing and we are still surviving and combating reduced footfalls in cinemas."
Talking about the picture, Karan and Smriti seems to be enjoying each other's company. What is your opinion about it?
