Most talked about Jodi Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria are once again hitting the headlines with their sizzling chemistry. The couple is back, however, this time not in a movie rather in a music album titled Masakali 2.0. Yes, Sonam Kapoor’s famous song that featured in Delhi 6 also starring Abhishek Bachchan has got its reprise version.
In the song, we can see Sid and Tara in Marjaavaan avatar wherein Sid essayed the role of Raghu the gangster while Tara essayed the role of Zoya Ahmed a Kashmiri girl who teaches music to children. The song begins with Sid and Tara all drenched in water as they enter a stranger’s house for shelter and later they realize that the owners are not home.
However, what grabs our eyeballs is that the song also has a Coronavirus lockdown connect. Yes, the whole song is shot in the room and therefore at a time when all of us are locked inside our houses its quite relatable and we hope that this song inspires you all to have fun at home.
Well, the original version was sung by Mohit Chauhan while the new one Masakali 2.0 is sung by Tulsi Kumar and Sachet Tandon and Tanishk Bagchi have penned some additional lyrics for the song. But as it is said that old is gold and no one can replace it so as per me Mohit Chauhan’s Masakali is more happening than the new one.
