Earlier Salman Khan was supposed to do a dance film with choreographer-director Remo D'souza, but after some time Salman opted out of the film. It was a story of an aged dancer who had to join his nine-years-old daughter on the floor during a dance competition. When Remo D'souza narrated the film to Salman that time he was very keen to be a part of the film.
Later, Salman felt that he could not be able to dance like what the character of the film demands as he was too old to play that part. Salman decided to leave the project when producer Ramesh Taurani offered him Race 3, but as Salman committed to Remo D'souza, so Dabangg star offered the Salman-Remo combo to Ramesh Taurani for Race 3.
Now, these days Remo D'souza is shooting the Race 3 with superstar Salman Khan and other stars, but Remo has not shelved that dance project. Salman who committed the director has now suggested Varun Dhawan for the dance film. On the other hand, Remo also had worked with Varun Dhawan in ABCD 2.
According to the source related to the project, when Remo approached Varun Dhawan, he immediately said yes to it and he was very keen to work with him again. These days Varun Dhawan is busy in the shooting of Shoojit Sircar's suspense thriller film October and after that, he will start the shooting of Remo's film till then ABCD 2 director will complete the shooting of Race 3.
