Trailer out: Here's a glimpse into the Shaandaar world of Shahid Kapoor - Alia Bhatt

Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Vikas Bahl launched the trailer of Shaandaar at an event in Mumbai. The entire team interacted with the media and spoke about the film.

The film marks the return of Shahid Kapoor in his romantic avatar after Jab We Met which was a cult classic. Alia Bhatt will be seen romancing Shahid Kapoor for the first time in her career. The entire cast had just one thing to say about the film -- 'Go and get entertained'.

Shahid Kapoor shared his thoughts about working with his father Pankaj Kapoor in the film and also revealed that his father bonded a lot with Alia on the sets of the film.

When Alia was asked to highlight a Shaandaar thing about the film, the actress said that shooting for the entire film was a Shaandaar experience. Vikas Bahl, who last directed Queen revealed that he is not at all under pressure and has tried to deliver his best. Going by the trailer, it seems we should be ready for a sweet and simple romantic comedy this Dussehra.

What is Shaandaar all about?

Said to be India's first destination wedding, Shaandaar is a story set in the backdrop of a big fat Indian wedding between two big business families based in India and Europe. The film is a about love hate relationship between the Aliya (Alia Bhatt), Jagjinder Joginder (Shahid Kapoor) and Aliya's father (Pankaj Kapoor). Aliya's father believes that no guy would be good enough for his daughter, while Aliya considers Jagjinder the love of her life.
