Student Of The Year 2 Trailer out; Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey, and Tara Sutaria begins new batch after 7 years

Finally, the awaited trailer of Tiger Shroff, debutants Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria starrer Student Of The Year 2 has been out. The trailer starts with the memories of Student Of The Year (2012) starring Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan to the current batch of 2017.

Like the previous one, this film also marks the debut platform of two actors Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey. While it is Tiger Shroff's debut in Dharma Productions as it is his first in Karan Johar's banner. Ananya Pandey daughter of actor Chunky Pandey plays the role of Shreya. While Tara Sutaria in the role of Mia. Tiger Shroff plays the role of Rohan a poor student who is in the competition to win the Dignity trophy.

This Karan Johar produced film is also having one old song that has recreated for a dance competition. The lead actors including Aditya Seal will be seen performing on the old song 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani'. 

The previous film SOTY was directed by Karan Johar but this time Karan's former assistant director and director Punit Malhotra has helmed the project. Earlier Punit Malhotra had directed two films I Hate Luv Storys starring Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan and another Gori Tere Pyaar Mein starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Talking about SOTY 2 is releasing on 10th May 2019.
