Sanjay Dutt biopic will not release with Salman’s Tiger Zinda Hai

The director of Sanjay Dutt biopic, Rajkumar Hirani and the producers have made an official announcement that their film will not release this year. Earlier the film was to release around Christmas this year along with Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai. From past few months there was a buzz that Dutt biopic won’t be able to release on Christmas; however there have been no official statement on the same. Now the makers have declared that the film will release on March 30 next year.

Since the rumours of problem between Dutt and Salman have been doing the rounds for many months now, it was said that both the actors are not going to budge and will release their films on the same day. Moreover Ranbir Kapoor, who is playing Dutt’s role in the film too has apparently not on a friendly terms with Salman due to his ex-flame Katrina Kaif. Incidentally Katrina features in Tiger Zinda Hai too. So it was going to be an interesting clash. Since the makers have shifted the release date of Dutt’s film, Salman’s film will have solo release on Christmas.

Tiger Zinda Hai is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and Dutt biopic features, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and others.
