Rakeysh Mehra's Mirzya captures palaces in Udaipur like never before for this Harshvardhan Kapoor film!

The theatrical trailer of Mirzya is a visual spectacle as director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra gives a peek into the stunning locales of Rajasthan.

The film has been shot at three of the most popular palaces in Udaipur - the Shiv Niwas Palace, Jag Mandir Palace and Shikharbadi Palace.

Shiv Niwas palace was built in the early 20th century during the reign of Maharana Fateh Singh. It is one of the most beautiful and expensive palaces of Udaipur and today is a haven for guests.

Jagat Mandir is a beautiful island palace built on Lake Pichola. It is famously known as 'Lake Garden Palace', and is a 15th century named after Maharana Jagat Singh. The 1983 James Bond film Octopussy had been shot here.

Shikharbadi Palace was once the resort of the royal family of Mewar. It is amongst one of the most beautiful palaces in Udaipur and offers breath taking views of the Aravalli Hills. and wild life animals like spotted deer, Nilgai, wild boar, peacocks, and the migratory birds that make their way to the waterfront of a nearby lake.

Said to be a modern day adaptation of 'the legend of Mirza - Sahiban', Mirzya marks the acting debut of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher. The movie releases on 7 October 2016.
