Prachi Desai & Emraan Hashmi are back with Azhar. So why is that so cool?

Their chemistry in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai set the screen ablaze. And now, after six years, they are back. Together. With Azhar.

Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai are a screen couple that immediately made us wonder why no one had thought of casting them together earlier. Their romantic song from Once Upon..., Pee Loon which was set in the early 90s, became an anthem for lovers in 2010, the year the film released. Surprisingly, the duo remains one of the less talked-about Bollywood jodis.

In 2010, Bollywood wasn't really experimenting with fresh on-screen pairs. So casting Emraan and Prachi together was a great move as producers and directors were still trying to cash in on the already established jodis like Shah Rukh Khan - Kajol (My Name Is Khan) and Ranbir Kapoor - Katrina Kaif (Rajneeti).

Now, six years later, the on-screen couple is back. Interestingly, this time too, it is Balaji Motion Pictures which is featuring them together - the same production house which gave us Once Upon...

Azhar, which is primarily a biopic on former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, features Emraan Hashmi in the titular role. Prachi will be essaying the character of his wife.

Even though the film also features Nargis Fakhri in a romantic angle with Emraan, as she is playing the role of former Bollywood actress Sangeeta Bijlani, the buzz around Emraan-Prachi's chemistry is palpably high.

Their comfort with each other is evident in the recently released song from Azhar, Itni Si Baat Hai. Well, the six-year wait was worth it after all!
