The communal team Rajput Karni Sena tried a hard to not allow the theatrical release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, but in the last, they failed to stop the film. Even the Karni Sena appealed to the people to not watch the film in the theatres but still, the audience decided to give a strong reply to Karni Sena by going to the theatres.

However, the film has got mixed reviews as some critics gave 4 stars and some clearly gave 1 stars. Then, on the other hand, some stars in Bollywood are not getting stopped praising the filmmaker and the team. This is to notice that just a day before its release there were some paid previews shows were arranged and even in previews shows the film collected 5 crores.

Well, in Thursday the film finally released and collected 19 crores from all over India. Then on Friday on its second day, the film collected 32 crores. Now according to the early trends on Saturday, the Viacom 18 produced film has collected 27 crores and with this, the total box office collection of the film is now 83 crores.
