Marjaavaan new stills! Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh are new angry young men
Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh have collaborated for the new film of director Milap Zaveri, Marjaavaan. The film will see a rivalry between Sidharth and Riteish and new pictures from the film have already made a lot of buzzes. Sidharth Malhotra will be playing protagonist with having some dark shades.
Whether Riteish Deshmukh is a midget villain with a dark sense of humour. The duo Sidharth and Riteish were last seen together in Mohit Suri directorial Ek Villain and the film turned out as one of the best thrillers of the year 2014.
Director Milap Zaveri in an interview spoke about how he got inspired to make Marjaavaan. Especially who chose to make Ritiesh's character Vishnu a dwarf. For those who are not aware, Milap Zaveri was the person who recommended Riteish's name for the villain's role in Ek Villain. However, when it comes to his film, he was clear that he won't repeat the character from Ek Villain. He knew that he had to take something out of the box to impress Riteish Deshmukh to once again come as a villain.
Talking about Sidharth Malhotra's character of Raghu, Milap said that it is a homage to Amitabh Bachchan's iconic character of Vijay in Deewar. While Amitabh was mostly seen having a rope around him in Deewar but Sidharth will be seen with a matchstick in his mouth all the time. Raghu also resembles Sunny Deol's character from Jeet and Jackie Shroff's from Hero. Marjaavaan is scheduled to release on 8th November 2019.
