Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari is running high on its success the film, on its first-day film broke the records of earlier blockbuster movies including Gully Boy, Total Dhamaal, Captain Marvel and on its first-day film collected 21.50 crores. While on the other hand, this is Akshay Kumar’s second-biggest opener after Gold.
On its second day Friday the film earned 16.70 crores this time decline was less as compared to Thursday collection and by this, we can expect that on the 3rd-4th day as its a weekend it will make new records and will roar loud at the box-office.
Due to Holi, the film didn't collect much on its first day as expected yet Kesari managed to break the records of the other film. Makers of the film are expecting high from the movie.

The movie is based on the real incident The Battle of Saragarhi where only 21 Sikh soldiers fought 10,000 Afghans single-handedly during Britisher’s era. The film is helmed by Anurag Singh and as released under the banner of Dharma Productions.
