Kesari Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra gets biggest opening on Holi

Kesari Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari has released this Thursday, a day before the usual releasing date. It happened because of the festival Holi and the film is going to have four days weekend. Akshay Kumar starrer film is actually based on the historical event and there are many expectations from the film at the box office.

According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film based on the historical event of Battle Of Saragarhi collected 21.50 crores on its very first day. This is really impressive as it was not expected on the holiday of Holi. With this, it also becomes the highest opening day collection of any Bollywood film.

 

The film has beaten the earlier biggest openers Gully Boy (19.40 crores) and Total Dhamaal (16.50 crores). So as per seeing the box office collection the film easily cross 100 crore mark in the opening weekend only. There is no doubt if the film also gets around 150 crores in the opening week.

 

Yesterday was Holi so the film didn't get a decent start in the early morning shows, however, it started getting better after the morning shows. With the evening shows the film has seen all the houseful shows. The film has directed by Anurag Singh who also directed Raqeeb and it has made under Karan Johar's banner Dharma Productions.
