Judgementall Hai Kya writer Kanika Dhillon confirms separation from husband and director Prakash Kovelamudi 2 years ago
Writer Kanika Dhillon who wrote the script of recently released film Judgementall Hai Kya has confirmed that she has separated from her husband and director Prakash Kovelamudi way 2 years back. The writer was married to the director of Judgementall Hai Kya starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao.
If believe to the media reports, Kanika and Prakash's marriage ended two years ago even before they started working on Judgementall Hai Kya. "Yes, we did split but not during Judgementall Hai Kya. It happened 2 years back, before the cameras rolled on the film," the couple said in a joint statement.
While Kanika had always been silent over her separation, but her husband Prakash has always opened up about it. He said, "We were settled in Hyderabad, as my social circle is there, but Kanika shifted to Mumbai, around 2 years back..."
Kanika who got married to Prakash in 2014 interrupted and said, "That’s really not important, what matters is that we are still friends and the decision is amicable."
When the couple was asked will they work together in future also. The director of Judgemetall Hai Kya said, "Of course, why not! We have pulled this (Judgementall Hai Kya) off together successfully and had a great time working together. We are surely open to collaborate on more projects."
Talking about Kanika Dhillon she had written many successful ventures and in the recent past, she wrote Kedarnath and Manmarziyaan in 2018. She also revealed that she wrote Ra.One, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
