No growth for Katti Batti at the Box-Office on Sunday

The Imran Khan - Kangana Ranaut's starrer Katti Batti collected just Rs 5.51 crore on Sunday, its third day on-screen. This is quite rare as most films, irrespective of word of mouth, witness a jump in collections over the weekend. The film had a poor opening weekend of Rs 16.27 crore and doesn't seem to stand a chance of gaining over the weekdays either.

Day-wise collections:

  • Friday: 5.28 crore
  • Saturday: 5.48 crore
  • Sunday: 5.51 crore

Total: 16.27crore

The film was never expected to do tremendous business due to its metro-centric appeal. However, the numbers coming in are way below expectations. The number of shows is expected to be scaled down from today, which will further hamper the collections. While Nikhil Advani's last directorial, Hero, managed to do average business at the Box-Office, Katti Batti just may emerge as a flop.
