Has Harshvardhan Kapoor and Anil Kapoor starrer Abhinav Bindra Biopic called off?
In 2018, it was announced that Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan Kapoor will play the leading role in Abhinav Bindra's biopic. Some pictures of Abhinav Bindra and Harshvardhan Kapoor sitting together for script narration sessions were also posted on social media. The reports were that the film will go on floors in the end 2018 but now the things have turned completely opposite.
According to the current updates, the makers have been called off the project Abhinav Bindra biopic and it happened due to continuously delay in the shooting. Bollywood Hungama quoted a source by saying, “The Abhinav Bindra biopic, with Harshvardhan Kapoor in the lead, was expected to start shooting in fall 2018, but now half of 2019 is almost over and there has been no progress on the film. The film has taken too long and the wait has seriously damaged the viability of the venture. Keeping this in mind the makers have decided to shelve the film completely.”
Let us tell you that in fact after the casting of Harshvardhan Kapoor in the leading role, his father and actor Anil Kapoor was also considered to play his on-screen father. Both father-son duo even has started preparation for the film.
The film was supposed to be directed by Kannan Iyer and now there are no much updates on the film. Let us tell you that Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan Kapoor made his debut with Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's film Mirzya.
