Filmi: Salman Khan's cinema hall opens this Diwali with Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil!
Salman Khan has been talking about his plans of opening a movie theatre, where he would offer tickets to the audience at reasonable rates. The superstar is now set to start the first theatre of his multiplex chain named 'Filmi', this Diwali with Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
According to media reports, the first six cinema halls will be opened in the interiors of Maharashtra with two leading attractions: Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. After Maharashtra, Khan has plans to open cinema halls in Uttar Pradesh as well. Plus, as against multiplexes charging Rs 400 to Rs 500 per ticket, here the audience will be offered tickets at rates as low as Rs 150!
If this business model is successful for Salman Khan, he plans to open 'Filmi Theatres' across India. An official announcement about the grand opening of the cinema halls in Maharashtra is expected to be made closer to Diwali.
