Deepika Padukone bonds with Amitabh Bachchan

Deepika was seen bonding with her former co-star Amitabh at a recent event

Post working together in Shoojit Sircar’s Piku, there was some kind of tension between Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan when the actress 'forgot' to invite him for a success bash. Later however they bumped into each other at a few events and decided to let bygones be bygones. But interestingly at the fashion awards event, Deepika was seen bonding again with him. A source says, “Deepika was in a happy mood. She spent quite some time with Mr. Bachchan and it looked like no issues happened between them. Deepika was the one who went first to greet the senior actor.”

It looked like Deepika was in a cheerful mood as her pictures with her flame Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor went viral after the award gala. A source says, “It is not just Neetu Kapoor, Deepika was bonding with her fellow actors and actresses too. She went and spoke to Rani Mukerji, Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt too. It was interesting to see her going out of her way to greet people. She seems to be in a happy space.”

Meanwhile,  there were rumours that Ranveer Singh too was invited for style award but he chose to skip it because of Deepika, as buzz suggests all is not well between them.
