Celebs head out of town to bring in 2017

Many celebrities have chosen to take a few days off and travel out of the country for the holiday season.

Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna

Akshay Kumar, who has had a good year with success of Rustom at box office, has already been holidaying with family in Cape Town. He and wife Twinkle also celebrated her birthday on December 29. The actor is known to take time off for his family during holiday seasons every year.

Alia Bhatt -Sidharth Malhotra

Now on now off couple, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra were spotted together at the international airport. They have apparently headed to Amsterdam to ring in the New Year together. The two actors have never really confirmed anything about the status of their relationship.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra has come on a short break to India for two weeks. The actress has been on a mission to catch up with her friends and family members. She is at Goa, where she will be spending her new year with her close ones at her villa in the beach town, before flying back to US.

Shah Rukh Khan

The actor prefers to bring in his new year regularly at his house in Dubai. He tweeted about him travelling and posted a picture with his three kids Aryan,Suhana and Abram couple of days ago. Gauri is said to have reached Dubai much before they did.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik started his vacation at French Alps with his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan, before proceeding to Dubai. The actor along with his estranged wife Suzzane, her family and kids will be in the country till New Year.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline has flown to her native country Sri Lanka to be with her family. The actress, who has been travelling extensively abroad for work, chose to take some time out for her family.

Anushka Sharma -Virat Kohli

Pictures of Anushka and Virat spending their vacation at Dehradun have been going viral on internet since past few days. The couple may have denied their engagement rumour but they are going to spend the rest of their days there together till they come back to the city next year.

Aamir Khan-Kiran Rao

Post success of Dangal Aamir and Kiran celebrated their anniversary at their Panchgani farm house, followed by a success party of the film. The couple intends to stay there for New Year along with their family and friends.

Katrina Kaif

The actress has gone back to London to be with her sisters and mother. She has been posting her pictures playing with her sister and receiving gifts from her mother for XMas, and it looks like she has been making most of her holidays.

Apart from Katrina, Shilpa Shetty with Raj Kundra, Shamita Shetty, Radhika Apte, Tusshar Kapoor, and Aftabh Shivdasani with wife Nin Dusanj are also in London for holidays.

Salman Khan

The actor had a big birthday bash in his Panvel farmhouse few days ago to bring in his 51st birthday. Now after completing his shoot for Bigg Boss, he is likely to go back to Panvel to welcome the New Year with his family.

I have hardly been able to spend time with my parents, brother and my friends. So I thought what better than bringing in the New Year with my closest people. 2016 was very exciting with and gave me a lot of experiences and learning. Bipasha and Karan, who seem to be only busy traveling around the world ever since they tied knot earlier this year, are in Australia. The couple continues to post their lovey dovey pictures on social networking sites.
