Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade starrer Poster Boys released in approximately 1000 screens. The film had low occupancy in the morning around 15-20% and it has collected around Rs. 1.80 crore on day one. The film marks directorial debut of Shreyas Talpade and is a remake of Marathi film which did well. However, trade experts had predicted that the film might not do too well at box office because it will have to face competition from last week’s releases Ajay Devgn’s Baadshaho, which starred Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’ Cruz and Esha Gupta as well as from Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s Shubh Mangal Savdhan. Both the films have been doing decent business at box office in the second week.

Arjun Rampal’s Daddy, based on the life of Don Arun Gawali released this week with Poster Boys. The film is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and is produced by Arjun. The film is said to be doing well in Maharashtra but there is confusion over first day collection according to some trade analysts, it has collected Rs 2.3 crore while other say it has manage to earn only Rs 1.5 crore so far. The makers are yet to release the official figures of first day collection.
