Robot 2.0 first look: Khiladi Akshay Kumar turns into a crow for Rajinikanth film

Akshay Kumar is all set to make his Tamil debut with Shankar's magnum opus, Robot 2.0. The Rajnikanth starrer features the Khiladi of Bollywood playing the antagonist. And although the makers tried hard to keep his look under wraps, a few photographs have been leaked from the set. And they have revealed that Akshay will play an evil scientist in the film.

His character is named Dr Richard, a scientist who reportedly turns into a crow after an experiment goes wrong. crazy failed experiment. The actor, who is currently shooting for a major action schedule at Delhi, was snapped by Bombay Times in his menacing avatar.

Though this is Akshay's basic look in the film, a lot of VFX will be used to enhance the character further. The final look therefore, is still a surprise.

Robot 2.0, mounted on a budget of Rs 350 crore, is said to be the costliest Indian film ever made. The story of the film is essentially a love triangle between Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar - and is reportedly inspired by the Ramayana.

Director Shankar has promised that Robot 2.0 will be a cinematic experience like no other. Shankar has also roped in the visual effects team of Baahubali for the project and the action sequences have been choreographed by various Hollywood experts.
