After Shah Rukh Khan and Rajinikanth, Steven Spielberg makes way for Salman Khan's Sultan

Bollywood, Tollywood and even Hollywood films have decided to reschedule their release date to make way for Salman Khan's Sultan this Eid.

The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has created a huge buzz largely due to the cast and the entertaining teasers released and the film is expected to open with a bang at the Box Office on 6 July, 2016. Initially, it was Shah Rukh Khan's Raees which decided to move out of the Eid 2016 battle.

It was widely reported that the makers of Kabali were eyeing an Eid release for this film; however the makers were not able to get screens in the Hindi belt which resulted in the release date being pushed.

And now, it is Steven Spielberg's turn as the director's upcoming film produced by Disney, The BGF has been postponed by 15 days. The theatre owners across India refused to screen the film at prime time shows post 6 July as majority of the space will be allotted to Sultan.

Distributed by Reliance Entertainment in India, the movie will now release on 15 July 2016, even though its worldwide release is on July 1.
