Kangana Ranaut starrer film Manikarnika is already in the controversies before its release, sometimes for its releases date and some time for its leading cast. According to latest reports, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood is already out of the film and the reason is Kangana Ranaut.
Recently Kangana Ranaut opened up about Sonu Sood and said that he doesn't want to work with female directors. Now Sonu Sood has given a strong and fitting reply to Kangana Ranaut on her statement.
Sonu Sood said, 'I want to say best of luck to Manikarnika team, and Kangana is my good friend and will always be. But she is continuously playing women and victim card with me. It is absurd,'
When Sonu Sood was asked about why he is not working with the female directors, He said, 'Director belongs to what gender that is not the issue, it is about the strength. I had worked with Farah Khan and she is good at her work. I have a good friendship with her.'
Earlier Kangana Ranaut also targetted Sonu Sood by saying, “He himself wrote his scenes of Kushtiblike Dangal, which were never in the script. He and director shot a lot of stuff which was never in the script and writers discarded those. is it my fault? Am I writing the film? He wanted the producers to retain the kushti portions as he made the body for it for 4 months. How did I know that is happening behind my back. When writers saw the film they said they don’t want it.”
The film Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi is releasing on 25th January 2019, and the film will be a biopic on Rani Laxmi Bai played by Kangana Ranaut herself.
