"If there is a remake of Baazigar, I would love to play a role like Shah Rukh sir. I would love to play an anti-hero. I feel that apart from comical roles, I should also explore romance, action, but slowly."
The actor, who lost out on the award for Best Actor in a Comic Role category at TOIFA to Deepak Dobriyal for Tanu Weds Manu Returns, said he was happy his performance made people laugh. When asked about his popularity, Kartik said:
"My fans mean everything to me. They are the ones who have made me what I am right now. I hope this fan following never stops. It is such a beautiful thing that I have got a fan following of men and female both and that too after an anti-love film."
