Ikka or Namastey England: Which film will Akshay Kumar shoot for this August?

After shooting for Shankar's magnum opus starring Rajnikanth, Robot 2.0, Akshay Kumar is expected to start shooting for the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi.

The Hindi remake of the Vijay-starrer Tamil hit, titled Ikka, will go on floors in August 2016 and the shooting for the film is expected to be wrapped up by October 2016. Akshay Kumar has allotted bulk dates to the producers of Ikka and the actor plans to start shooting for the film in one go. Akshay Kumar will be seen in a double role in the AR Murugadoss production that revolves around the issue of water scarcity and farmer suicides.

Ikka will be shot at Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and Bangkok. The movie will be directed by Jagan, an associate of AR Murugadoss.

Previously, Vipul Shah had confirmed that his directorial, Namaste England, with Akshay Kumar will go on floors in August. It will be interesting to see how the Khiladi juggles between the two films.
