Valentine's Day is almost here. While some are already in a loving relationship, some are still looking for love.

Don't worry if you are single in the city. This Valentine's Day, we will help you find the love of your life the app way.

Here you go:

OkCupid

The app is first on our list. The Boston Globe called the app "The Google of dating apps." The app page says that "OkCupid will multiply your odds of finding a date by, like, 10,00,000%." How great is that? The app allows you to connect and browse the matches available nearby and quickly review photos and other details about them.

The apps requires you to fill your basic profile details and answer a set of questions. "When it comes down to it, there are 3 principles that make OkCupid the best dating site on Earth: our love of math, we're always free, and everyone's welcome", says OkCupid.

Tinder

Tinder has become a household name and one of the most popular dating apps around the world.

Here is how it works: If you're interested in connecting with someone on Tinder, then just anonymously Swipe Right to Like them; or Swipe Left to Pass. If someone likes you back, then it's a match! Chat with your matches and get to know them inside of Tinder.

When you see someone you like more than the others, you can Swipe Up (or tap the blue star) to send someone a Super Like, to let them know that they've caught your eye. Note that users get only one Super Like to send each day.

Tinder is celebrating Valentine's Day by giving users an extra Super Like for that one day.

Woo

Woo is a matchmaking app which lets you meet like-minded people. The app has the bios of numerous people and lets you go through them to find the best ones. "It is a dating app exclusively for interesting, educated professionals", says Woo on the website.

What's more, you can always reconsider someone if you are not sure. And that's not all. You can discover people through TagSearch or by asking and answering interesting questions.

Woo ensures user privacy and verifies every profile for authenticity and weeds out fake or undesirable users.

TrulyMadly

Meet, chat, date and mingle with interesting people on TrulyMadly. The app uses algorithms not horoscopes to find someone you'll love to date. So, if you are looking out to meet like-minded singles, you can UnSingle right here on TrulyMadly.

The app is extremely safe as one cannot download or take a screenshot of the photos uploaded. You can set age, city, and other preferences. Whether you are from metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru or from small towns, the app gets you covered.

Happy UnSingling!

Bumble

Extremely interesting fact - The app permits only women to start a chat with their matches. Woo hoo ladies!

Bumble connects you to people around you. After two people mutually opt in by swiping right, they're added to each other's 'hive' of connections. The woman has to say something first within 24 hours or the connection disappears forever. For same sex connections, or friendships, either person has to make a move within 24 hours before the connection disappears.

What if you run out of time? Don't worry! Each person can extend the one connection by an additional 24 hours. Be social!
