Ex-Ukrainian MP's wife tries to flee with 28 million dollars, 1.3 million euros in cash stashed in suitcases

Ukrainian media report that the wife of former MP Kotvytskyy tried to take $28 million and 1.3 million euros out of #Ukraine via #Zakarpattya.

Russia-Ukraine Conflict:

1) Russia declared war on Ukraine on 24th February and has been initiating attacks across the nation ever since.

2) As maintained by the UN, as a result of the conflict, 10 million people have been displaced across Ukraine, including some 3.4 million who have fled to neighbouring countries such as Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary.

3) Hundreds of civilians, which includes children, have lost their lives in Ukraine in the conflict.In the meantime, Ukraine has claimed that over 14,000 Russian soldiers have been killed so far.

4) Western nations, led by the United States, have enforced harsh sanctions and financial penalties on Russia in a bid to pressurise the country into ending its offensive.

5) Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is ready for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin but expressed apprehensions of a third world war breaking out if diplomacy fails.
