Star Indian tennis player Yuki Bhambri suffered a major setback in the Australian Open after a straight-set defeat at the hands of sixth-seed Tomas Berdych in the opening round of the tournament on 18 January.

The Czech star claimed a 7-5, 6-1, 6-2 win over Bhambri at the Margaret Court Arena to enter the second round of the year's first Grand Slam.
