Good News! This Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress grabs a role in Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 2
Star Plus's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been going on strong from the last five years and has given us some really good actors and actresses. And now it seem as if the hard work of a fellow actress from the show has paid off as she has bagged a role in Rani Mukherji's upcoming thriller Mardaani 2 and she is none other than Shruti Bapna who is seen essaying the role of Vandita "Vandu" in Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel's show.
Mardaani 2 happens to be the sequel of Mardaani, which was produced by husband Aditya Chopra and directed by Gopi Puthran. Rani, in the movie played the role of a police officer, Shivani Shivaji Roy and was seen fighting witha a 21-year-old villian. The shooting for the second part has already begun and Shruti, on her Instagram account, shared a picture of the clipboard of the movie and captioned it with two emojis.

Shruti left the show after her accident in the show. Her role was that of Ishita Bhalla's elder daughter and received immense amount of love from the audience. Talking about her work front she has done quite a number of shows like Sasural Genda Phool, Saas Bina Sasural amongst others while she was also seen in a number of movies like Wake Up Sid, Rowdy Rathore and Gabbar is Back and recently in Arjun Rampal's Daddy.
